Kindness Iniatives

At the Drala Collective, we believe in the power of kindness to create a positive impact, not only within our digital community but also in the real world. Our Kindness Initiatives are designed to channel our collective resources and goodwill towards meaningful charitable endeavors.

With each round of kindness initiatives the community will propose and vote on who and how we can support those in need through already active and time proven charitable organizations that are making impact on the ground.

As a member of the Drala Collective, you will have the privilege of participating in periodic voting to designate the charitable organizations and initiatives that we support. Together, we'll continue to make a tangible and lasting difference in the lives of those in need, embodying the spirit of kindness that defines our collective.

Join us in our mission to bring kindness to life and create positive change, one initiative at a time.

Kindness Initiative round 1: Supporting Bodhi Seeds

Goal to reset next round initiative- $5000 USD donation

Our first round kindness initiative is a goal to raise $5000 USD to donate to “Bodhi Seeds” clinics in India and Tibet.

About Bodhi Seeds: Founded by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, Bodhi Seeds is a beacon of hope for the monastic and lay communities in the Himalayan regions of India, Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet. This incredible organization is dedicated to addressing the diverse needs of these remote and underserved areas.

Medical Clinics in India and Tibet: Currently, Bodhi Seeds is actively involved in supporting vital medical clinics in Rumtek, India, and Legon, Tibet. The Tso Jey Medical Clinic, established in 2011 by Bodhi Seeds, plays a crucial role in attending to the basic healthcare needs of children and monastics residing in the Rumtek Monastery community. Beyond healthcare, Bodhi Seeds also facilitates educational sponsorships for Rumtek children whose families are unable to afford schooling. Generous donations have enabled Bodhi Seeds to provide tuition for four young women, who have been supported since the third grade, and are now pursuing their first and second years of college.

In the Tibetan region of China, the Legon Clinic, situated within the Legon Monastery, extends its healing touch to the district's monastics, nomads, and residents of remote villages. Doctors and staff will be available to help many people from pregnant mothers and their newborns, to the disabled and dying elderly and everyone in between. Donations directed to the Legon Clinic contribute to funding essential medications, the salaries of medical professionals including doctors and nurses, and the sponsorship of patients with urgent medical requirements.
